About Paul

With nearly a decade of coaching experience, Paul Gionis has guided top athletes in competitive youth and junior hockey programs. A former player with a 19-year career, Paul played up to the Midget AAA level and was a prospect for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the QMJHL. As a head coach in the RSEQ school league, he has led his teams to multiple championships.

Paul specializes in game situations and battle drills, with a strong focus on developing elite passing skills. He is passionate about teaching the next generation of players how to excel through smart puck movement and a deeper understanding of the game. His sessions emphasize tactical breakdowns to build hockey IQ, and every practice ends with high-intensity battle and compete drills. These drills reinforce essential elements like body contact, puck protection, stick work, and angling—key ingredients for on-ice success.
