Strength and Conditioning Coach
Tanner is a strength and conditioning coach at Junxion Performance. He holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from St. Mary’s College in California and a master's degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Tampa. In 2011, Tanner was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the Major League Baseball draft and went on to play at St. Mary’s College. As a strength and conditioning coach, Tanner has worked with athletes from the youth to professional level and across multiple sports including baseball, hockey, soccer, tennis and golf. He also works with general population clients who wish to improve their health and fitness.
Tanner’s understanding of exercise physiology, sports science and biomechanics serve as a foundation for program design and periodization. Tanner believes in a client and athlete-centered approach where each individual has specific needs that are met through a personalized training program. Tanner uses scientific literature and experience as his framework to help clients meet their health and fitness goals.
